Here at ARK9, we are proud to offer services specifically for puppies and other services which cater to puppies and younger dogs. Our specialised puppy services include 1-21 training, Group classes, Board & Train, Raise & Train and Puppy selection programmes.
However, all our programmes accommodate and encourage puppies too!

Puppyhood is a major part of a dog's development and can be a stressful time for both owner and pup, we have therefore focussed programmes and services to assist you and your puppy through this hectic stage. We can provide help & advice and training, so you can enjoy being with your puppy and build a lasting relationship.

1-2-1 OBEDIENCE PUPPY TRAINING
Our 1-2-1 Obedience Training Programmes offer anything you could aim for, whatever your goals!
​
Our Puppy programme is developed for puppies aged 8 weeks - 16 weeks and our foundational programme for any new pup. We offer basic obedience with this package, in addition, we offer our expertise and advice concerning general manners, small behavioural issues and anything puppy related.
The other programmes Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum are all available to puppies and you can expect the same service and help you'd get from our Puppy programme but with longer programmes, we are able to offer training and help for a longer period while your pup grows and ultimately reach higher training levels.

Our Puppy Programme is made up of 8 sessions and is designed for puppies from 8 to 16 weeks old.
To help make sure they get all the required foundations in the most crucial stage of training. The programme also includes expert advice, guidance and support with common issues - with a large focus on proper socilaisation.

The Bronze Programme consists of 15 sessions. This course is designed for young untrained dogs, throughout this course you and your dog will learn basic obedience skills and manners. Bronze is also considered a foundational programme but with added expectations for dogs older than 16 weeks.

The Silver Programme is the perfect in-between course at 25 sessions, this course is for owners looking to further the training from the Bronze Programme but not all the way to the Gold Programme. In this programme, we focus on solid recall and stay with more distractions and duration.

Taking the commands from the Bronze Program and Silver Program the Gold is a step up at 45 sessions. Throughout this program, your dog will learn to perform the commands in higher distraction environments with some added complex commands including an introduction to off-lead.

Here at ARK9 we are proud to provide our Platinum Programme of obedience training which is 80 sessions. Here your dog will learn how to do everything it learned from our Gold Programme completely off-leash with added complex commands.

BEHAVIOUR MODIFICATION
We offer 1-2-1 Behaviour Modification training and consulting for any issue you may have with your puppy.

BOARD & TRAIN
(RESIDENTIAL)
PUPPY
At ARK9 we offer a range of Board and Train programmes for people looking for a more intensive training programme for their Puppy.
​
Our Board & Train programme is in-house and your pup will stay with one of our trainers 24/7 for the duration of the programme. This is available for puppies of any age and you may choose to focus on a particular aspect of training such as:

Our Board & Train programmes run for a minimum of 2 weeks, this allows your dog some time to settle so we can make the most of the training as a stressed or unsettled dog is less inclined to learn.
We typically do programmes from 2 - 8 weeks long, however, if you wish or in particular circumstances, we can cater to longer stays. The duration is usually dictated by your aims, goals or issues you wish to resolve because more complex training and severe issues will require longer training periods.

RAISE & TRAIN
We are proud to offer our Raise & Train Programme which is geared towards puppies and young dogs where the owner would like a high level of training and the ultimate consistency it takes to raise a balanced dog. The programme is essentially a long-form of our Board & Train for puppies and will run between 4 months - 9 months depending on your goals.

This programme can be paired with our Puppy Selection Service for idealistic results or you may already have a pup you wish to enrol.
​
This programme is entirely custom and any details & goals will need to be discussed and agreed upon with us. Due to the long duration of the Raise & Train, availability is extremely limited.

GROUP CLASSES
At ARK9 we run 2 group classes of up to 10 participants. Both classes are open to puppies with the Foundations Class offering the best start to training. If your puppy already has good basic obedience you may wish to enrol onto our Intermediate Class which can also be used as a next step after graduating from our Foundational Class

Foundations Group Training - This is for young dogs and untrained dogs. The training sessions take place in low distraction enviroments such as fields and parks. During these sessions your dog will learn basic commands.

Intermediate Group Training - At ARK9 we hold an intermediate group for older more experinced dogs. These sessions are held in medium to high distraction enviroments desgined to test the dogs. During these sessions your dog will learn some complex commands while improving their already known obedience.
